About

Aligning Finance with Purpose

At Vision Impact, we believe finance and sustainability are deeply connected. Our goal is to inspire thoughtful choices—both personal and collective—that shape a resilient future. Through reflection, analysis, and forward-looking ideas, we help individuals and organizations align money with meaning.

About Me

Finance was never designed for the world we live in today.

Climate change is no longer just an environmental challenge—it is reshaping
livelihoods, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and entire economies. Yet many financial systems, particularly those serving vulnerable communities, were never designed to respond to these new realities. This is why I created Vision Impact.

I believe that financial inclusion alone is no longer enough. While access to
finance has transformed millions of lives, access without resilience still leaves
communities exposed to climate shocks. The next generation of finance must do
more than provide capital—it must also protect, adapt, and empower.

I am Nkurunziza Marlyne, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting and Management at ENOES Paris, while working as an Apprentice Accounting
Associate at Wema. Alongside my professional journey toward becoming a
Chartered Accountant, I am building expertise in finance, climate resilience, and
sustainable development.
Through Vision Impact, I explore how finance can better support climate-vulnerable communities, particularly in emerging economies where agriculture,
entrepreneurship, and local livelihoods are increasingly threatened by climate
change. My reflections focus on climate-inclusive finance, financial innovation, and the role of capital in building long-term resilience.

My long-term ambition is to contribute to the development of financial systems that
are not only more inclusive, but also more resilient, adaptive, and capable of
financing sustainable development where it is needed most.
Whether you are an investor, policymaker, researcher, finance professional,
entrepreneur, or simply curious about the future of finance, I hope these reflections inspire meaningful conversations, challenge existing assumptions, and encourage new ways of thinking.

Welcome to Vision Impact.

Resources

This is not an exhaustive library it’s a personal selection of reports, books, podcasts, and tools that I find meaningful.
Some come from global institutions, others from grassroots models. Together, they reflect the vision of Vision Impact: finance that is responsible, inclusive, and regenerative.
